An American flag flying from an installed flagpole at a school building
For school builders 25% off every pole across a programme

One spec,every school

A standing flagpole package for anyone building more than one school. We size each pole to the wind at that address, produce the submittals your contractor hands in, and hold one price across the programme.

The smallest scope on the job

A flagpole is a rounding error against the cost of a school. It is also the first thing photographed at the ribbon-cutting, the thing a veterans group will comment on, and a scope small enough that it gets priced by whoever answers the phone.

That is where it goes wrong. The pole gets written generically, three suppliers quote three different products against it, the cheapest wins, and nobody checks what the thing is actually rated for until the submittal comes back.

Every pole Eder makes

Sixty-four models, fifteen to eighty feet, in seven series. You are not choosing from a shortlist.

HeightModelsRated, flag flyingList, from
15 ft1120 mph$860
20 ft785 to 120+ mph$990
25 ft1065 to 150+ mph$1,160
30 ft950 to 150+ mph$1,800
35 ft1076 to 150 mph$3,040
40 ft891 to 150 mph$6,180
45 ft2100 mph$8,130
50 ft685 to 150 mph$8,770
60 ft590 to 120 mph$12,720
70 ft491 to 105 mph$21,320
80 ft2105 mph$32,940

The point of the table is not the prices. It is that at almost every height there are half a dozen different poles, and they are not interchangeable — at 30 ft alone the range runs from $1,800 to $10,250 and from 50 mph to 150+ mph.

Which one belongs on your site depends on the wind speed adopted at that address, not on what is cheapest that week. That is the work we do before we quote, and it is the reason a programme is worth having: it gets decided once, correctly, and then it stops being a question.

Eder publishes these ratings as a steady wind speed with a 1.3 gust factor per ANSI/NAAMM FL 1001-07. That is not the same basis as the 3-second gust figure in a building code and the two cannot be compared directly, which is exactly why this is a selection problem rather than a price comparison.

What we take off the project

The programme terms

Straightforward, and secondary to everything above.

Prices are for the pole. The flag, the concrete base and the labour are quoted with it and shown separately, so you can see what each part costs.

What we need to quote a programme

Three things, and we come back with the pole sized for each address, the submittal package, and one price per site.

  1. The site addresses, or the general locations if sites are not final.
  2. Your architectural standard for exterior elements, if you have one.
  3. Whether any project carries federal funding.

If your standard already names a product, we will tell you plainly whether it is right for those addresses — including when the answer is that it is more pole than you need.

Start a programme

Tell us what you are building. One person reads it and comes back with the poles sized per address and one price per site, usually the same day.

No obligation, and we do not run drip campaigns. If a programme is not the right shape for you we will say so.
