Internal or external halyard at 25 ft

Outside (external halyard): the rope runs to a cleat you can reach. The 25 ft Basic Flagpole starts at $1,160. Right for homes, offices and any site that isn't open to the public.

Hidden inside (internal halyard): the rope runs inside the pole to a winch behind a locking door, so nobody can lower the flag or cut the rope. The 25 ft Premium Internal Halyard Flagpole starts at $3,370. Usually the choice for schools, town buildings and anywhere people walk past.

For the coast and anywhere hurricanes reach, there's a 25 ft hurricane flagpole: the Coastal & High-Wind Flagpole, rated 150+ mph with a flag flying, from $5,030. Heavier wall, wider base, and built for salt air.

Every address has a design wind speed set by its building code. We check yours before we quote, and we size the pole to it, so the cheapest pole is only recommended when it's rated for where you are.

How tall is 25 ft?

A 25 ft flagpole stands about level with a 2-storey building, and that's how a flagpole looks right: level with the building behind it, or a little above. It flies a 4' x 6' flag, the size Eder recommends for this height. A bigger flag pulls harder than the pole was built for.
