What we do in Texas

Flagpole installation in Texas

In North Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano and Lubbock) we supply and install the pole ourselves, and we do repairs there too. Everywhere else in Texas:

Buying just the pole? We make it worth it. You get our best price and heavy discounts on supply-only items, and the pole is sized to the wind zone at your address before it ships.

We help you find the best installer for your area. Through our flagpole network we locate the best local installer near you, and we work it through with you until your installation is complete.

Installing a residential flagpole yourself? We walk you through it: where it should go, how deep and wide to dig, setting the ground sleeve and the pole plumb, and running the rope and the flag.

Complex projects. We do install select complex flagpole projects in Texas ourselves. Tell us about yours and we will let you know.

Flagpoles in Texas

Texas is three wind states in one, from desert at El Paso to open Gulf at Galveston.

Wind here. Texas covers more ground than every other state we work in, and the wind figure moves further across it than anywhere else. Eder's wind map puts El Paso and the big interior cities in the 90 mph zone. Corpus Christi sits at 130 mph and Galveston at 140, where heavy wall and the Hurricane series become the default. Houston falls in between at 120 mph on Eder's chart, stepping up toward the coast. Same height of pole, three genuinely different shafts.

Flying the Texas flag? We sell it, sewn to the state's own design specification and sized to sit under the national flag on your pole. See the Texas flag →

Need taller than 80 ft? We supply steel flagpoles from 100 to 150 ft, made in the USA, for car dealerships, truck stops and other big sites across Texas. 100–150 ft flagpoles in Texas →

Where the wind map climbs to 140 mph, a sturdier 30 ft pole starts at about $6,880 (Eder ECH30).
